i am apply for my son MN1 and want to know who fill the payment slip it say: applicant name/date of birth/country of birth is it write my son name or parent name

In that case, your child is probably already British and can apply directly for a passport. No need to register him using MN1. The rules at the time of your child birth were that if you were exercising treaty rights at the time of the birth, the child is British. (the rules today require PR). Were you (or the child other parent if he is a EEA national as well), exercising treaty rights at the time of the child birth? Just provide that proof to the Passport Office. The rules changed in October 2000. Your 2001 born son will need to register to become British using form MN1. His PR is not relevant to the application. What is important to prove is that one of the parents obtained PR (sometime after his birth).ming 379 wrote:hi, jambo
