Travel - UK Passport Application is in Process

Hi,
Using Postoffice Check & Send service i made a application for UK Passport on 12/09/2013.
Currently i hold India Passport.
Question is can i travel out of UK using my Indian Passport.
Please advice.

You are required to send any current (foreign) passport with the British passport application. Do you mean you didn't send one?

you are allowed to send a full colour photocopy with every single page included initially.
But they will ask for the original at a later stage hence it is better to send the original if not needed for the next 2-3 months

For 3 months since you were granted Certificate of Naturalisation you can use your Indian Passport to Travel.
