That sounds a bit extreme to me. I actually have a feeling once the October rush is over, applications will turn back faster.

I like the optimism here. We have come a long way to reach this point and waiting for home office decisions isn't new. Lets hope for a quick turnaround...

Optimism is all I have daydream:). I need to get back to my native country at the earliest, applied on 16th December, and the optimistic part of me is hoping for a decision before April sets in.

I dont mean to sound like killjoy but I see no point in posting individual timelines until the fees has been debited or an acknowledgement letter received. It simply clutters the forum topic which makes it difficult to navigate, after all there are people waiting from October for their applications to be determined.
