Hello I hope someone can help me, I was born in Greece in 1980 I have a British mother and Greek farther. I have lived in England sins 1988 but I was never registerd , I have a British wife and three kids all British. My problem is that my Greek passport has expired and I thought I would just apply for a British passport thinking I would surely get one having lived hear most of my life and having a British mother, I rang the passport office and they told me due to the year I was born (1980) I need to first get registerd or nationalized I'm not sure witch and it will cost me 860 pounds. But on a second call to them they told me to fill the passport application form in providing all my mothers details as I have no contact with my father , they will then call me to set up a meeting with me to have some sort of interview at ( no cost) and that they don't see there being a problem. Any help would be great
