Hi,
Is there any requirement in regards to minimum amount of time refree needs to be known to the child?
I have one referee (child minder) who is known for last 3 months only .. is that OK?
Thanks

Page 28 of the MN1 Guide is fairly clear on the requirements.

Hi Guys, my question is somewhat related to the topic:
how long the referee needs to be a British Citizen to sign the form. - does anyone know.
Our child minder agreed to sign it for our 2 year old, but she is obtained BC less than 12 months ago.
not sure that will be an issue or not

The referee need not have known the child for a minimum time limit. We moved to a new area and the GP and school originally refused to sign our children's application on the 3 year grounds. We showed the school the form and clarified that there is no 3 year requirement for a child (which exists for an adult). Finally they kindly agreed to sign.
Good luck
