Hi guys,
I am applying my BC this week and writing a covering letter to explain some points for home office. I filled the AN form.
I got my ILR on 7th Feb 2013 by PEO in Solihull and got the ILR card on 11th Feb 2013. I have following queries and quick reply will be appreciated.
1. To whom should I address my covering letter.
2. Question 1.3 regarding when you were given the ILR in AN form, should I mention the day I visited PEO Solihull and got the ILR date OR the date when I got the ILR card.
3. I was previously married and then divorced few years ago. I dont remember my ex-wife's correct date of birth and place of birth but I know her country of birth. Can I leave question 1.38 and 1.39 blank/unanswered because I dont want to give wrong info. I am thinking to mention this in covering letter that I dont know this info.....is it right????
Cheers

1. Dear Sir/Madam
2. 7 February 2013
3. Are you applying as a spouse of a British citizen? If not, just fill in the information you know, and leave blank any information you don't know. You may wish to provide an explanation in the cover letter.

or
Immigration Office
Home office
OR
Immigration officer
British Citizenship, Home Office
UK
I am asking about this.
Thanks for the rest of answers.

If you want to provide any additional information, you can mention in page 15 of the AN form. covering letter is not required unless you wish to attach one.
If you don't know any information, just leave blank or write "non known".

Thanks for the reply.
One of my referee filled more than half page to provide his addresses because he lived more than 1 address in last three years. There is not much space left for me.
I want to mention two things on covering letter, one is about missing info of my previous marriage and second is, I am working as Software engineer on permanent role currently. I opened a limited company couple of months ago because I will be changing my job in very near future and looking for new contract.
I am ticking both "Employee" and "Director" in my employment.
That's why thought to write covering letter but dont know whom to address it???

you referee needs to write his current address. there is no need for them to provide their previous addresses.
for covering letter, you can address to
Department 1
UK Border Agency
The Capital
New Hall Place

Thanks for info.
But it clearly say in Q 5.6 in Referees section that if you have been this address for less than 3 years then please list previous addresses on page 15.
May know I pls where did you get this address?
