Applying for Naturalization as British Citizen

Hi
My wife is in the process of filling in the FORM AN for naturalization. Section 5 is to be filled by a 2 referees one of them must have a professional standing and should not be related to the applicant.
One of my wife's friend is pharmacist and can sign as a professional but she has the same surname as my wife (the applicant) - would this cause any issues/delays as it may confuse the case worker thinking that they might be relatives/sisters etc. as their surnames spell exactly the same.
Any advice as to whether she should have the same person as a referee or find someone else to be on a safe side will be appreciated.
Many thanks
