First adult Passport application (with no previous passport)

Hi!
I have recently received Naturalisation certificate, and now about to apply for first adult passport.
My question is about sending supporting documents, in particular: "passport that was used when first entering UK".
I do not have nor ever had a passport. And I do not have any other form of ID from the country I left. I entered UK when I was under 18 without any form of ID as asylum seeker.
I called Passport Office enquiring about this, and was told to wait for a phone call within 48 hours.
Does anybody know what can be done in such situation? Can I send ILR instead?

I was in the same situation and i end up sending my country birth cert,marriage cert, naturalization cert and ILR status document.
I applied yxday.

I haven't yet heard from passport office, will update as soon as they get in touch with me.

Ok, I've received email from Passport Office:
"Good Morning
Yes, please forward your indefinite leave to remain, alongside a covering letter explaining that you did not enter the country on any passport, and that you entered as an asylum seeker in 2001.

I've sent the application today using Check&Send post office service.
Hopefully Everything will go smooth;)

Everything seems to be going well.
I received interview letter yesterday from passport office, which is a final step and a requeriment to go through interview when applying for first adult passport.
So, this means that the examination process went ok because the passport office did not ask me for any more documents during the process.

Received SMS today: Your new passport is now being printed and should arrive in the next few working days.
So, everything went ok, and the passport office never asked for any additional documents. So, ILR + letter explaining that I do not have previous passport is sufficient.

Final update.
Received the passport today!
