i am going to apply my first Adult British passport in 1st week of November and need to travelling to Pakistan at the end of November for 2 weeks
I got my old Passport and ILR card
is there any harm to travel while your passport application in process?

You need to submit your current passport when applying for British passport.

We'll if you get your old passport in time while you apply for British passport yes you can travel.
But I guess you get in 12 full days your British pp anyways.
