Hello
I am newly registered and following this forum for last couple of months. I have an ongoing application as a family unit (two adults and one child). I have applied on 22nd of May 2014 through NCS and still waiting for decision. My child is disabled and I am claiming DLA. when I applied, NCS advisor said I don't need to mention it or provide any documents. It is more than 4 months now and still waiting :( while other applied afterwards already received their approval. My question is does Claiming child DLA affect the application and I must declared it at first place  I am so stressed out of thinking about this issue. So I request senior members, moderators and Gurus to help me as I couldn't find any information about this. Really appreciate the efforts of all who are helping us in tedious journey towards citizenship.
Thanks

As long you claim the benefits you are entitled to, it shouldn't have an bearing on decision.

akhurshid Thanks for your quick reply. Yes I am entitled to claim benefits. As I didn't mention this issue in application, I was worried that it might further delay in approval.
