what exactly do they do after they receive our applications?? why does it take so long to decide? 3 months, some even 6 months? :|

what do they need to check? is it simply because too many people are applying and our applications are in the queue and the actually process and decision is very quick?

i'm getting really frustrated and maybe overracting a little bit. I only submitted 2 weeks ago. i know i shouldn't be moaning about it already, but i can't help it

anyway, when i went to NCS, they told me NCS is not a fast track, but the case workers prefer NCS applications because usually NCS applications are more straight forward.

so what do you think??

I think you should follow exactly what your username suggests.

And yes as far as I know its due to sheer volume of documents received that they take time. Experts can tell you better.

Just follow the thread for the month you applied in and you will get a lot of information there. Also follow a month before your application to see the general timetable of approvals.
