It is now 7 November and the money still hasn't been charged to my credit card, so I'm getting slightly concerned! I saw on the October thread that payment is taking a little longer these days so I'll wait it out and update here when it hits my bill. I'm used to them deducting the money the day after the application arrives so initially came here thinking something had gone terribly wrong.

Relax buddy, It happened to me too, I applied on the 28th oct 2014,bank clearance was just 2 days ago ie 14th nov. I was getting worried too, but I think your NCS should give you the tracking no. mine gave me the tracking no to track the delivery ..All the best.

I applied on 01st Nov through NCS Brent Council. I am still waiting for acknowledgement and fee has not been taken yet. Its driving me crazy too. It seems process is a lot slower in Nov-Dec time.

Yes it seems to be independent choice of NCS service provide ie Council.
I applied in Worcester on 29 Oct and got tracking number, tracked and its received next day.

21 days since the Post Office says it was delivered and they still haven't deducted payment. Starting to get antsy now!

i got an email today from the UKVI. i was so excited, but when i opened it, it was a survey based on my recent application decision
i am assuming this is referring to my ILR, which was approved last month. i thought it was my acknowledge email!
