Urgent help regarding new Requirements for 'Good Character'

Hi all,
I will apply for the citizenship application on the 4th Feb on the basis of marriage to BC. According to the rules, the overstayed applicants are refused. i wanted to know if my case is considered as overstay or not?
i entered the UK as a visitor and the visa granted date was 19/08/10 and expired 19/02/11.
i applied for extension on 18/02/11. the application was refused on 15/03/11 and i left the country on 21/04/11. i should leave 28 days of being refused leave to remain.
i contacted the home office on the 18/03/11 to inform them if i can leave on 21/4/11 as i already booked the flight ticket and I couldn't find flights at that time. I received a reply of acknowledgement and acceptance from the Home Office case work that i can leave on the stated date and then I received an email from the home office that the case is closed as I left the country and made a 'voluntary departure' from the UK.
will this situation affects my citizenship application under the new Good Character requirements if they considered me overstaying??
Your urgent help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Receiving a reply of acknowledgement and acceptance from the Home Office is usually automated.

Hi,
I have got my ILR on 4th Feb 2014. But based on the recent changes to the good character , I am not sure what will be the outcome of my citizenship application if the Home Office considered what happened in 2011 (visit visa ) overstating.
Regrading Milan's question, in 2011 the HO caseworker used to communicate by email and I have all emails with me but I need to know if what I stated in previous post would be considered overstating and then will affect my Citizenship application??

I am going through this
list of instructions given to case workers for deciding Naturalisation applications. These are two volumes and I looked at Volume 1 for now cannot find anything that would stop you.
But
personally I do not think you overstayed and otherwise in my view your passport would have been endorsed as such and you would not have been able to get ILR in the first place.

Hi,
I submitted my application on February 2015 and still waiting.
I am confused. Does the new Good Character requirement state that breach of immigration laws at any anytime during qualifying period OR 10 years prior to naturalization application. Can any one clarify this please.
