Filling AN Application Electronically

Hi,
I've booked a NCS appointment for thursday and have gathered all required documentation, filled in the AN Application and filled the Payment Slip. However, I have filled both forms electronically using Acrobat Professional and am going to print it out and take it along with me to the appointment on thursday. Would this be a problem?
I thought filling it electronically will reduce errors and make it easier to read for the case worker. Do you think I should take a written application with me just in case the electronic version is not accepted?
Thank you in advance.

I think think you'll find the answer below.

Have your referees hand filled their section of the form?

I filled in all my applications to HO electronically, never had any issues.
Got Naturalisation approval in just over 20 days.
Also, you get to keep a softcopy of the submitted application for posterity's sake
On the references page, only the details to be filled in by referees should be handwritten by themselves.
You can even use PDF Xchange free version to edit PDF docs.

Thanks, good to know there's a freeware tool available as well. If only I had known there was an option to fill these forms electronically, I would have avoided all the photocopiying I did of applications submitted in the past! My record keeping would have been much simpler

Fantastic! Thanks for all your responses. Yes, I was going to get the referees to fill in their details by hand.

I thought IU'd double check with you guys just in case. Here's hoping everything will go well. Thank again!

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea NCS confirmed that the British Nationality Application form AN can be "filled electronically" instead of handwriting.
>>> Many thanks for contacting the Nationality Checking Service at RBKC.
Typing your form instead of handwriting is absolutely fine. <<<
However, another council London Borough of Barking and Dagenham said that this question to be directed towards the Home Office.
>>> Thank you for contacting Barking and Dagenham Direct.
This enquiry needs to made to the Home Office. <<<
So, I called the Home Office - British Nationality section 0300 123 2253 - select option 1 and then 3, and asked the same query towards two different customer service representative, and they both confirmed the same that it needs to be hand written (either black or blue ink)
Can anyone confirm that they have submitted a form AN completed electronically (of-course not the referee part) and was approved.
Thank you very much.

Many of the more hi-tech members submit typed or printed forms.
And not just the Millennials, some of us digital pioneers too.
I myself used an Olivetti typewriter circa 1967; signed with Parker fountain pen, italic nib.
