Passport App- What would you do?

Recently gained my British citizenship through the UKM process, and am now looking forward to holding a British passport.

However, it is made difficult by the recommendation that one apply from their home, in my case Canada, or, if not from their home, that they then make an official address change to submit prior to or with the application.

Neither case suits me, because I am retired and making the most of this time, for travel mainly.

I am never in one place for ten weeks at at time..

If I am requested for an interview with an application made from Canada, the return trip would be too expensive.

If I change address to Europe, where I mainly travel, and interview is required, I will still need to travel to reach it, or can I then request an interview at the nearest consulate?

Kind of a conundrum...any suggestions from the group?

Thanks :)

If you could stay at one place for about six weeks then you can apply and I'd suggest giving a UK address staying in UK. Process is usually completed within a month, so sparing a month in UK wouldn't harm. Its spring here these days, so if you like travelling then you can enjoy some countryside walks while you wait. :)

I also had Citizenship approved by UKM, and I need to advise change of address. Can you tell me who to contact (Home Office?, UKVI?, UKBA?, etc) and how to contact (Phone?, email?, letter?). Thanks for any help you can give.
