This question for my friends.

They wonder if they can apply British citizen for their son?

He and his wife came to the UK as a work permit holder.
They became british citizens on 13/11/2013.

-Their son come to the UK with a indefinite leave to enter the UK on 25/4/2013.
(Visa settement to join parent (s). Valid 10/10/12 until 12/5/13)

Date of birth 3/1/1998

Their son is 17.6 year old now. They like to apply before their son turns 18.

Can they use MN1 form?

Thank you for all your help.

Because of the childs age, there might be a 3 year resident requirement which will only be met in 2016 as he appears to have arrived more than 6 months after the visa was granted. Perhaps one of the other mods or gurus could confirm.

Yes, documents need to be officially translated into English. Likely this would have been needed at the time of ILE application too.

Thank you very much all of you.

So that means he can apply now since he compleated 2 year residency.

What documents are needed? I read in the guild on gov.uk and a bit confused.
