Be aware that after getting the registration certificate, you will then need to apply for a British passport. The official lead time for that is 16 weeks, but some posters on the threads below have reported a longer lead time.

You could be looking at the whole process (MN1+passport) taking from 6 months to a year.

The links secret.simon have provided is to give you an idea on the timeframe it takes to apply from abroad. Your child, even though born in the UK, will have the same wait as anyone else applying from India.

You will also need to check with the embassy in India about your child submitting his biometric once you receive the biometric letter.

Isn't this topic already dealing with the same (repeated) questions? Either you had ILR in July or have got it "just now", can't be both - so, why make up stories??

1. MN1 application, child in UK: 1-6 months;
2. MN1 application, child outside UK: 6-12 months.
3. Emergency - If biometrics have been submitted, child may travel. If not, then choose whether attending to emergency is more important or MN1 application processing! Any delay in biometrics keeps the application in limbo and inability to provide biometrics despite reminders finally invalidates the application.

Minors don't get naturalisation certificate. They get registration certificate!

Overseas British passport applications
The child will need a exit visa / OCI on his British passport to travel back from India using a British passport.

MY Bad, I meant to say Registration Certificate,

But Can i not apply for his passport here in UK and take with me to India to bring him here ,

and also If you can travel to India without Visa form UK (When you got Indian Passport), Technically YOu can travel from India to Uk without Visa, once he became British , My thinking is OCI is to Travel to India I guess,

Please correct me if I Am Thinking wrong

Sorry, I missed reading the "here" in your post earlier.

I am not sure if a UK passport can be applied for in the country where the applicant is not physically present.

FYI-
Using an Indian passport to travel after 90 days of registration will incur financial penalties when you surrender the passport.
If you wish the child to use British passport at Indian immigration at an Indian airport when travelling to UK, you will need a exit visa or OCI in the British passport - else Indian immigration may not allow the child to cross immigration control. And the Stupid may not allow the child to board the aircraft. Whether they allow to cross/board on the basis of the registration certificate is at their discretion and a therefore a risk for you.
Also, if the child traveled to India using a BRP before being granted British citizenship and intends to come back in the same manner, then you may have more trouble on your hands.
