I thought I should start a new thread instead,

I am applying for BC for my baby who was born here under
section 1(3)

I need advise from those that have had similar experiences and experienced from members please:

Question 1.9 (child's current nationality)
My baby is just 5 months old and has no passport. What nationally should I put down. Same as mine or what please.

Question
1.21 - 1.27 (father's details)

My husband currently lives abroad and yet to join us. Should I leave his details blank?

Should I provide photocopy of his passport?

Do I need to go with our marriage certificate?

Question section 7 (consent to application)

Do we both need to complete this section

If yes to the above, as my husband still lives abroad, what's our opinion in terms of him providing consent

Q1.9 your nationality (if that is the case) or blank.

Q1.21 ...
You have to include all parent (including husband's) details on the form.

Do not leave out any parent :!:

For children living in UK, parent passport is not a requirement (in the guidance)

Yes, marriage certificate for child living in UK.

Section 7

If your husband has access & parental responsibility he usually has to give consent (it's expected).
- you could complete the form & mail it for date & signature; he can return it to you.

Many thanks Noajathan.

I also have a question about section 2 Which asks for child's residence in UK or British overseas territories. As my baby is born in the UK, should I be completing this section ?

Yes, questions Q2.1, Q2.2, Q2.3, Q2.4 all apply as child for a child in UK.

(Instead of date of arrival in Q2.1 you could put date of birth or "from birth").
