Hi All,

I applied for naturalization on the first week of November. Money was taken on 27th of November. But till today there is no communication from UKBA. No receipt, email or request for the bio metric.

Has this happened to anyone? I will try contacting them if this is unusual.

The current trend for applications in November appears to be that acknowledgement and biometric enrolment letters are received within around a week from when the fee is deducted. But that's not to say that there are those that fall outside a week. Personally if it were me, I'd write to enquire if you haven't received a biometric letter after 2-3 weeks of the fee being deducted based on the current trend.

Note that it's likely that the trend will change closer to & over the Christmas & new year holiday period as well.
