Could someone provide information on how long a right of abode takes 2016? I would prefer people who have actually applied for ROA comment. Thanks!
Also could you actually go in person to Liverpool home office to speed up the application?

Hey there
I'm in the same sort of situation as I would like to know the waiting time too because I have already sent my application on the 25th November 2015 and then it was received by the HO on the 26th November 2015. The acknowledgement letter was on the 2nd December 2015 and now it's coming to over two months and I haven't heard anything
So I can't really give any advice etc but hopefully someone else might have applied and know the timings etc. I have told you what my situation is so the wait seems quite long and also I'm not sure if a person can go to the office in person tbh xxxxx

Hi dimples,
I have a similar Case like you. I applied on 21/11/2015 and received acknowledgement on the 27/11/2015 with a new HOR number . I still haven't heard from them. If I may ask, why the delay. It is approx 2 month 2 weeks.
I Hope HO will reply before the end of Febuary. Please, update if you have receive your.
Good luck.

Could anyone here please help,. how did you apply for your ROA? was it done in the UK or overseas. im having some problems with the online services it says
You can apply online for a:
UK visa - to visit, work, study or join a family member or partner in the UK
certificate of entitlement to prove your right of abode in the UK
.............
Before you apply
First check what kind of visa to apply for and what documents you’ll need.
Also check if you need to get a tuberculosis (TB) test.
When you apply online you need to:
fill in the application form in English
pay the visa fee online (in most cases)
print out your form
book an appointment at a visa application centre
You can save your application form and finish it later.
Apply
What service you use depends on the visa you’re applying for.
Apply for a tourist or short stay visa
You can apply using the new service for:
Standard Visitor visa
Marriage Visitor visa
Permitted Paid Engagement visa
Apply for all other visas
Apply on the Visa4UK service for all other visas, including study and work visas.
Create an account on Visa4UK to apply for the first time.
Sign in to Visa4UK to apply if you already have an account.
