I am not able to find my BRP card. Also as per new rules I have to return the BRP card to the Home office after being Naturalised as a british citizen and tommrow is the last day/ fifth day or else there is a fine upto £1000. What do I do now? I have just emailed them about lost card today.

Report it lost to the police and provide HO with the details.

Thanks . I called the police now on 101 and they told me now they don't take the call for lost property or give out any reference numbers and I will have to call the home office and there's nothing they can do about it .

You need to go to a police station and explain it is a card that contains your biometric info held by HO and you need a crime ref number if reporting it lost or stolen.
Once reported to HO, they update with the CRN info and will cancel your card.

Ahhh, thank you Vinny. I was advising on personal experience where HO specifically asked for crime reference number when my daughters BRP was lost/stolen but this was in 2013
