Hi everyone!
I and my wife are non eea non settled in the uk (another year before we can apply for ILR.
We have a son who is Irish citizen ( because he was born in belfast in 2004 and was entitled to an Irish passport by the then rules ).
He also has a PR in the UK since he was 5 years old.
I wanted to register him as a BC but am confused which form to use. is it form T ,MN1 or any other form?
Any help/guidance is welcomed.
Thanks

As you are not yet settled I'd suggest form T.
If a child lives in UK for first 10 years of his or her life, an application can be made under section 1(4) of BNA even if parents are not settled.

Thanks noajthan.
I understand that his Irish citizenship has no say in it. He will be treated as any other child who was born in the UK (NI is part of the UK) and that he has lived now more than 10 years in the UK.

That is my understanding.

However it's also worth mentioning an Irish passport is 'gilt-edged' & opens as many doors around the world (if not more).
