hi
can someone pls advice,
I have been illégal for the first 3 years on this country before get married to my EEA wife on march 2008 and receive my EEA resident permit on sept 2008 then was granted my EEA permanent resident November 2013 scared it might be refused under the Good Character requirement for apply for my naturalsation I am confuse on which early date I'll be illegible to apply?
the date of my wedding day,or the day i received my EEA resident?

10 years after you became legal I reckon.

thank you for your quick reply,i heard is from the first day you been known to Home Office!!!
my first day legal was on my wedding day but I did contact HO only 2 months later!

2 parts:

1. A 10 years refusal from the date of illegal entry (or when the person brought themselves to the attention of the HO) and
2. In the last 10 years you should have been compliant with immigration requirements (e.g. turned up to reporting if required to do so and not working).

To be on the safe side, I'd side with Vinny and say March 2018.
