Could you please confirm if the following is correct when using the Joint Naturalisation and Passport Application service through NCS.

1. You do not need to write telephone number in Section 2?
2. Referees do not need to write/sign anything on the Passport Form as long as the referees have filled in Form AN?

Is number 2 really correct? Because the Passport form does say counter signatory is required.

with reference to your first question it is correct telephone no must be written in Section 8 instead of Section 2 and with reference to your secound question it is also correct only Naturalization form need to counter sign.
Most of the information is given on NCS web site so its better you check the NCS web site where you book your appoinment. Please find the Wandsworth JCAP application process and info just an example for you.
