Hi, My hubby applied for ILR in oct/nov 2014. His English test was done by Pearson's ESOL 3

My question is because this was accepted while applying for ILR will it also be accepted for Citizenship. I am a bit confused because I am aware only IELTS and Trinity college test are accepted but while reading the AN_ Booklet I came across this.

If you met the requirement to have sufficient knowledge of language and life in the UK when
you applied for settlement by having a B1 level test you do not have to demonstrate it
again. (People who applied for settlement on or after 28 October 2013 needed to have had
a B1 level qualification.)

Q8)so ESOL is no longer accepted fro citizenship.

Q8a) He did meet the language and LITUK requirements in 2014 which were accepted at that time when applying for ILR.

I'm still a bit confused because of Q8 so does he have to take a new test?

Did you miss reading Q2? Or only read Q8 and nothing else?
