Hello Admins,

Want to share my friend's experience whose ILR application kept on hold due to UK NARIC; in order to prove his english languages skills. UKBA is no more entertaining PBS calculators. It is now mandatory to prove your bachelors degree, transcripts and course taught in engligh through UKNARIC from April 6th 2016 onwards.

My Friend is in process of apply those necessary documents and get it done with 14 days of time which UKBA gave. UKBA has tie ups with UKNARIC; RED route is exclusively for UK Visa immigration purpose for settlement applications.

My BC naturalization is due in next couple of week. I already provided UKNARIC SOC letter (Blue) and degree certificate while filing my ILR applicaiton in July 2014.

Does UKNARIC SOC letter will suffice to prove my english skills for this BC naturalization process?

Please let me know your valuable thoughts and inputs.

Thanks,
Ajay

Thanks for your response. Got it your point

I'm good go ahead with my Blue UKNARIC SOC letter and degree certificate with NCS services.

But in this website; https://www.naric.org.uk/naric/

RED Route is for Visas and Nationality for settlement.
Blue Route is for Work and Study.

---Cheers

UKNARIC is mandatory document for naturalization process.

Will my previous UKNARIC SOC letter (in blue letter head) which got issued 2 years back will suffice or not for my naturalization?

If not; do I need to apply on new UKNARIC RED route?

Points-based calculator is no longer available on the UKV&I website anymore. Though Guide AN has not been updated, this essentially means that anyone who intends to apply for naturalisation, is not exempt (see Q2 above), and wishes to use a bachelor / master / doctorate level qualification to fulfill the English language requirement must apply for a document from NARIC.

So, did you read Q2? And still couldn't find the answer?
Get someone else to read it for you. Let whoever is kind enough to do so know that you applied for settlement (ILR) in 2014. Maybe they will pick up what you glaringly miss everytime!
