Hello guys,

I have read many of the forums, however i could not find the answer to my question. I will be recently visiting the UK, and wondered weather it is possible to apply for my child first british passport whilst i am ther, as it would be much easier and faster than applying from the country which she was born (egypt)

I have still to appy for a british birth certificate, which i may need in order to appy, so can you help me on that too, i searched the online birth certificate register too, however seems that the child must of been born for a certain amount of time before applying for the certifice is available.

A British child may optionally apply for a consular birth registration or Confirmation of British nationality.

Or just apply for either a British passport or CoE-RoA.

I would like to know can I apply for my daughters British Passport whilst I am in the UK , and she is in Egypt via the passport office? I need to know urgently as im travelling to the uk soon and if so, what paper will i need.

Have you read the links already posted for you above?

Child will obviously have to be with you wherever you apply.
