Hi All,
First of all, I am sorry & apologize if this query has been asked many time in this forum.
I am going apply a British passport from out of UK to my baby (baby was born after my naturalisation in abroad).
1.Should I get two qualified references when apply a British passport for my baby from out of UK?
2. What are the necessary documents needed for the British passport application.

British passport and counter signature in abroad

I am sorry if these questions asked many times. Could you please give me some information.
I am a British citizen now and my child was born in abroad after getting my naturalisation.
I am going to apply my child British passport and my wife Tier1(G) dependent in abroad.
1) Should I go directly (for showing my original passport) to apply my child British passport in abroad?
2) Is it good enough for sending my British passport copy and other documents copies?
3) Can I get counter signature here in UK (from my office manager) ? or do I must get a counter signature in that country?

The
countersignitory must be able to confirm that the child's
photo is a true likeness of your child. So, meeting your child and comparing the child's photo with your child seems essential.

If father is working in UK and mother live in home country with child.
We can submit the "parent's contact details form" (in the below link) in order to attend an interview in UK/home country, when applying child British passport from abroad.

Does anyone has similar experience?

Hello All,
I need a confirmation from expert.
My friend who works in post office in UK, has gone to India and did see my baby in India as well.
Since he returns to UK next week, I plan to get counter signature from him.
I am going to send my British passport scanning copy and naturalisation certificate copy via email and ask my wife to apply baby British passport in India (because I can't get holiday this time in my office). Please advice me if I am wrong or missing anything. Can I proceed immediately as I mentioned?
