UK Naturalization application result by Email

Hi all,

My husband recently applied for naturalization on 20-JAN-2017 and we are planning to visit our family in India between first to third week of March.

Suspecting that he might receive a result on his application while we are away, I would like to know if the Home office sends an email, about the result or that the result has been sent by post(like documents are returned by post email for visa) or just the letter stating the result and no email?

According to the countless timelines I have come across, many people receive letters from Home office few days from the date on the letter, which means you lose few days from the 21 days time period within which you need to book a ceremony. In which case I will get a friend to check our mailbox.

Thanks in advance!

Approvals are NOT sent by email. You get a letter in a standard A5 brown envelope, 2nd class mail.

Thank you CR001

I am not sure that he will get approval within 2 months. But there is a slight possibility, based on my understanding of few timelines posted on the forum which received approval in less than 75 days of their application.
