hi,

i am almost in the same situation. i got LR ilr in may 2015 and now got BC last month. my wife got spouse visa FLR(m) which is valid till aug 2018.

do i need to apply her extension in the same visa or when can she apply for BC?
or does she need to get ILR first then Bc

please some one can help on that?

She needs 5 years residence on FLR(M) before she MUST apply for ILR.

She requires ILR before she can apply for citizenship.

There is no shortcut.
