Yesterday I received an acknowledgement letter for my naturalisation application. Along with the letter was a biometric enrolment letter requesting me to complete my biometric scanning. The thing is, I had already enrolled and included my BRP with my naturalisation application but I still received this letter?

I have sent them an email asking if I need to do it again . Any advice?

Hi - I asked the same question. Its to ensure that the person who is actually making the citizenship application is the person they were dealing with in the visa/ILR continuum.

Just do it - a post office near you with the Bio facilities will be able to do it in 5 minutes flat.

Biometric enrolment is required for every application you make to the Home Office.

Not doing it will result in a refusal or invalid application.
