"Decided" after just 1 month

Been logging in sporadically, just out of interest, not really expecting anything to change.
On 14 October the online status read "Awaiting decision" and today it has changed to "Decided".
Got a terrible feeling as I'm sure you can imagine.
Is this just an outright rejection considering it has taken no time at all?
Now just waiting for the mail to come through.
Any thoughts/considerations/advice? Anyone else had theirs decided so quickly?

I don't think anyone has a crystal ball, so I'm afraid you'll have to wait for the letter then all will be revealed.

The are now a few September applications which have been decided within a similar timeframe, including mine. All of them approved so far.
But yes, I know the feeling
Don't worry. Most likely you'll receive an approval letter within the next few days.

Happy to see you got the approval!
To answer ubamor01 - I think sometimes people get lucky and have a combination of an efficient and not overworked case worker, a straight forward case and all checks being returned quickly, which leads to a faster approval. I am guessing that realistically speaking the amount of hours that a case worker actually spends on an individual case is just a few hours and the rest is mainly waiting for checks to come back from other agencies. Statistically speaking, it's likely to be an approval.
Good luck!

Thanks for the kind words.
I feel a bit more optimistic, I see that someone else from the October timeline has now received a positive outcome too.
I'll update as soon as I know.
All the best to everyone!
