Hi,
My son has just been approved for his British citizenship through registration on 12/12/2017. I had received the passport via DX on 15/12/2017. Unfortunately, I am still waiting for his registration certificate to arrive. Can someone please tell me or have any idea how long it normally for me to receive it?

If you have all applied as a family, you should get the certificate at the ceremony for yourself.

If you applied only for the child, the certificate is sent from HO separately via second class post in an A5 brown envelope (make sure you have not accidentally received it and thought it was junk mail).

Passports are issued by HMPO, a different department.

Thank for your reply.

It was just for my child. Do you have any idea how long it would normally to get posted to me?

Given the time of year, there is likely a delay with the postal service.
