Documents Required for MN1

I have a question related to this topic:
Not sure what documents I need to send for my sons registration (mn1- sec 1(3), born in UK but not living in UK at this time. My son and his mother currently abroad and I am in UK. My son was born in 2011 and I became PR in 2014. I have not applied for british passport yet.
Documents for identity verification of my son we have his indian passport and british DOB certificate: do I need to send original or notarized (certified) copies both or either.
Do I also need to send anything else: like copies of my ILR, marriage certificate etc.
