Hi Guys,
Wondering if i can get help with the below questions please?
- My ILR will be 12months from the date of of issue on the 02/10/19 and because I'm struggling with finances at the moment I applied and paid for my Naturilazation on the 9/9/2019 with biometric date on the 03/10/2019 and I'm wondering if this would be an issue and if so how I can go about getting a refund for the money paid already so can make a new application ?
- Do I need bank statement for the last 5 years as proof of residence or are the stamps on my passport enough evidence ?
- For the application , I have my passport, ILR card, Referee letters, LIUK Test, Masters degree and passport photograph and I'm applying visa the 5year route + 1Year ILR. Do you think I'm missing any other document?
Thanks in advance

Date of application is the date you submit and pay online and not your ukcvas biometric appointment date with the third party agent.
Bank statements not needed. Passports are sufficient.

You need 12 months on ilr on the date of application unless married to a British citizen.

Applicants under section 6(1) of the 1981 act are also required to have been free of immigration time restrictions for the remainder of this period. There is however discretion to waive this requirement.
Discretion to disregard immigration time restrictions in the 12 months prior to application can be exercised if one of more of the following is met:
• the applicant had less than 12 months free of conditions when they applied,
but meets the requirement by the time you consider the application and all the other requirements are met

Got my approval letter dated the 14/10/2019. I applied on the on the 9th of September ( before 12month on ILR) and completed my biometric 4th of october( Just one day after 12 months on ILR) Awaiting date of ceremony.
This is by far the best experience I have had with home office and I'm grateful for this platform.
Best wishes to all

Hi Duien,
I did the same mistake. ILR 12 months complete on 20/11/2019 and I applied online on 17/10/2019. Very worried that my application will be rejected.
Seeing your post gave me a relief. So should I just wait and attend my appointment booked for 21/11/2019?
Thanks

Hi guys .6yrs discretionary leave then ILR in 2016.Applied for naturalization in 2017 but got refused as I want not aware of the good character 10year rule and application fee went down the drain. In the refusal letter I was told to apply from September 2019.I am really worried as I don't want the previous refusal to affect the new application that I am making.
Also does the B1 test certificate expires ?I passed the B1 test 2 years ago is this still valid for use?
Does a resolved debt relief order affect naturalization application.
Thank you all in advance

If the refusal decision states you can apply again then shouldn't be a problem, probably best to attach a copy of that decision.

You would have done B1 for your ILR so not necessary to provide a new one.
Does a resolved debt relief order affect naturalization application.
As such not an issue if you have complied with the order - unless you are a series defaulter.
Thank you all in advance
