ILR +Passport lost applying BC

Hello guys,

I have been settled in the UK since 2005 with a ILE vignette sticker on my expired passport never thought of becoming BC since August 26th, couple of people had stolen my passports and ILR vignette from my car, I've done a bit of research online and decided to become a British citizen rather than getting the latest BRP card.

Now my problem and the reason of my post is,

Can I apply for a citizenship without applying to get the BRP ? (I Have got the valid passport without ILR and any stamps) also I don't have any documentation proving of my ILR except from crime reference number from Met police station.

If yes, They are asking me to provide proof of residency since I settled in the UK so is that mean I have to collect 14 years of documents to provide ?

One last question, 5 years ago this time I was abroad for 6 months and 5 years till today I have calculated the continuous stay in the UK it comes up as I stayed more than 460 days outside the UK since last 4 years and 0 days outside the country since 12 months.
Any suggestions on that this much of absence period will cause delay on my possible BC application ?

Sorry for the long writing and I appreciate your time and help.
Tay.

As you do not have your old sticker, you should get a BRP as a proof of being free of immigration control for your BC application. You should show that you resided in the UK since you got ILR and never was absent for more than 24 continuous months. Provide as much evidence as you can. A BRP application can take months (around 6 months) by that time you should calculate the absences again to see if you you are below 450 days and apply for BC then
