Hello Team,

My Citizenship Ceremony date has been slated for the 23rd of June. I am just wondering if it is possible to choose a different venue aside from the council chosen?

Also, I have tried to request a private ceremony but not available at the moment which leaves me with no option but to wait till June.Is there any fast track process for passport application after getting the ceremony done in June? Like posting the ceremony certificate and getting passport back in 1week thereabout?

Please advise.

Venue: there's no fast way to change your council venue - and other councils may be worse in terms of timings/availability by the time they book you in. Plus it involves the Home Office again which adds time ...
First Passport: There's no fast track service for a first passport - timelines would suggest normal processing anywhere from two to four weeks on average.
