Hi all,

I will be applying for naturalisation this month and had two questions. To give some background, my wife, son and I have been in the UK since 2013 on Tier 2 visas and then ILR since 2018.

Q1: What documentation serves as proof of being in the UK 5 years ago? A letter from employer at the time? A payslip? A P60 for the year ending 2017 from HMRC?

Q2: My son is 14 - Is the naturalisation process the same for him? I'm sure I read somewhere that he would just need to be registered as a british citizen?

Thank you in advance

Q1. Passport(s), bio page and all stamped pages

Q2. A person under 18 is registered as British under section 3(1).

Thank you for your reply.

The child registration can only be done by post, am I correct?

No, online.

Add the child to your application as well as your spouse if you are all applying together.
