Please help me to find right answers to submit MN1 application form.

I'm ILR holder and my child born in the UK. Now I'm submitting MN1 form and struck to answer below questions.
1) Resident in the UK or British overseas territory. Do you live in the United Kingdom or a British overseas territory? - Current my child and myself are living in the UK and not sure which option to select Yes or No ?
2) Which parent or legal guardian would you like to add details about? - Do we have to fill both legal parents Mother and Father or only one parent who has ILR ?
3) Referee details - I've two referee, both are British Citizens and friends of mine. Can two references should be Family & friends and acceptable as referees ? or Do I have to get another type of referee ?
4) Which country will you live in if this application is successful? - I've answered as United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern
Ireland - Is this correct ?

One referee should work in a recognised profession.

Ireland - Is this correct ? Yes. UK is also fine

One referee must be a professional and preferably know the kid in their professional capacity.

Current both referee's are IT professional's and both are British Citizens holding British passport and know the application(my child). So would this be still valid referee's ?

IT professional is not an acceptable profession, unless they are also associated with a professional body. Review the list:

‘Acceptable professional persons’ means:
• accountant
• airline pilot
• articled clerk of a limited company
• assurance agent of recognised company
• bank or building society official
• barrister
• British Computer Society (BCS) - professional grades which are Associate
(AMBCS), Member (MBCS), Fellow (FBCS) (PN 25/2003)
• broker
• chairman or director of limited company
• chemist
• chiropodist
• christian science practitioner
• commissioner for oaths
• councillor: local or county
• civil servant (permanent)
• dentist
• designated premises supervisors
• director or Manager of a VAT registered charity
• director, manager or personnel officer of a VAT registered company
• driving instructor (approved)
• engineer (with professional qualifications)
• fire service official
• funeral director
• insurance agent (full time) of a recognised company
• journalist
• justice of the Peace
• legal secretary (members and fellows of the Institute of legal secretaries)

Childminders aren't on the list, unless they are a social worker or teacher member of a professional org.

Does engineer (with professional qualifications) - example Software engineer with bachelor degree qualifications are acceptable?

What the Nome Office means by "qualified" is membership of a professional organisation, eg for an engineer, being chartered with the IET https://www.theiet.org/membership/

I'm thinking to get my two British citizen are ready to reference and sign document. And I would want to submit a cover letter stating that I don't have anyone to reference my child who knows him personally and not ready to sign reference document. Would this be a problem ?

I'm planning to get my two British citizen friends (Software engineers) who are ready to reference and sign document and know well my child. And then I would want to submit a cover letter stating that I don't have anyone listed in from the professional list to reference my child who knows him personally. Hence I submitting two references who are British citizens. Would this be a problem ?

Please advise any other way I can get this sorted.

Just find anyone that fits the criteria of the requirements. They don't have to know your child personally. The HMPO isn't fussy about kids application.
If they were, new born babes would never be able to get passports.

But someone in that category is mandatory!

If you did this, your application would not be successful. Try your best to find someone in the list, family friends are OK, but it has to be a qualified professional.

I have now received a letter from GP stating that my child is registered with them. But they declined to sign in Home office reference letter where applicant photo is attached.
Question now is does the GP patient registration letter is acceptable. I believe it’s not acceptable. Please advise if I mention two references as below,

1) first reference is British citizen and my friend and I will have his details mentioned in application as Fathers friend and sign the reference letter.

2) second reference is British citizen and my friend and I will get his details mentioned in application as Fathers friend and get reference letter signed.

Looks to me it’s very difficult for people who don’t know many listed professionals which know the child personally and who wants to give their personal details to fill application and sign the reference document.

Any pointers on how to deal this would be appreciated.

Both referees are fine. Provided one of them fits the job description requirements. Always nice have both as British, makes the verification exercise smoother.

As you say, the GP letter won't be enough. The professional requirement is not easy to fulfill - but unfortunately these are the rules. It doesn't matter too much if they don't know the child personally, as far as they know you and feel comfortable signing the declaration.

Hi, please help me to clarify how many consent forms I've to submit for MN1 application.

1) Referee consent - Two referee consent forms. - This one clear to me.
2) Part 1 or Part 2 or Part 3 - Which consent form should we sign as parent for child MN1 application ?
3) Parents consent forms by Mother and Father. - This one clear to me.

for consent forms - Part 1, signed by you. Part 2, you need all the people named on the documents you are submitting to sign part 2. Eg if you have submitted a bill jointly in your name and someone else's name, this person has to sign the form. Part 3 is not needed as MN1 is not an application with sponsorship.

If you sign the consent forms incorrectly UKVI would contact you.

Why would bills be submitted for a MN1 application???

Usually only part 1 required for MN1, signed by the parents.

I know it wouldn't be a bill, it was only an example of something in joint names and it was the first thing that came to my mind.

NO such documents are submitting for MN1.
