Dear Sage,

We (me & my wife) are thinking to apply for BC only for our childrens but not sure that they could be eligiable for BC with out us (parents).

we hold Indian passports with ILR stamps.

Could anyone shed light on this please?

If the children were born in the UK, then yes.
If they were born abroad, then no.

What makes you think that you will loose your Indian citizenship if your children become British citizens?
