If they agree to give you a letter with a date somewhere in July then I think you can get it now.

I was employed by X123 COMPANY FROM 05/2006 - Part time (student visa). In 2007. I got workpermit from same company in 2007. I left the company as I got another workpermit ( same job title )from X234 company in 2008.

I know that I need to get letter from both employer. My previous employer give me letter which is as below

Date: XX/XX/XXXX

Subject: Application for Indefinite Leave to Remain

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to confirm that Mr XXX was employed by X1 from xx/05/2006 to XX/03/2008 under Work Permit arrangements as ----------.

A 5 year Work Permit, Permit Number F xxxxxx was issued to him on xx/05/2007 and he commenced employment with us as a workpermit holder from xx/07/2007

Should you require any further information please feel free to contact us.

Regards,

[Designation]

I noticed that in this letter it says that "from xx/05/2006 to XX/03/2008 under Work Permit arrangements as ----------."

From 05/2006 to 07/2007 I was working part time on student visa
From 07/2007 to 03/2008 I was working full time as workpermit holder.

On other hand it also says that
" A 5 year Work Permit, Permit Number F xxxxxx was issued to him on xx/05/2007 and he commenced employment with us as a workpermit holder from xx/07/2007"

I am confused, Will this letter create a problem?

Please help me

Thanks

STUDENT VISA & OLD EMPLOYER TECHNICAL CHANGE

Hi Everyone
I am due for my ILR in first week of july and I got two important queries

(1) I got workpermit from ABC company in 2007 and in 2008, I changed my employer and got leave to remain for another 5 year for XYZ Company( SAME POST:MORE SALARY).
ABC company changed its address when I was working there in 2007. I just noticed it because company address mentioned in workpermit is different from P45. ABC company hasn't notified UKBA for this this technical change done nearly 5 years ago.

Will it matter? Does my previous company HAVE TO notify UKBA?

I WILL NOT SHOW ANY DOCUMENTS WHICH SHOW ADDRESS APART FROM ORIGINAL WORKPERMIT UNTIL ASKED

I have payslips and bank statements showing salary from ABC Company paid to my bank account.( in payslip, no employer address)

If case work notice that my entry clearance employer and my current employer is different, I can show him letter from UKBA notification letter for : CHANGE OF EMPLOYMENT

I also have Employment history from HMRC for ABC Company.

(2) I came to uk in 2005 and was on student visa for 2 years. Do I need to show university letters/qualifaction? ( I have but from local college only and I changed university after getting visa)
