Hi,

I have a query,

To provide 6 documents for Cohabitation to cover 2 years period, I am attaching a council tax bill which is on joint name of mine and my wife. The problem is the spelling of my wife's name is wrong it has single 'e' instead of 'ee' with in her name.

Would this be an issue.

I have only this document to cover the initial period of 2 yrs, other documents are of later dates.

Thanks

Instinct says it should not be a problem... However a note from Council indicating Name Correction is advisable.

If you have a spouse or civil partner listed in section 2 of this application form who is applying at the same
time as you, please provide documentary evidence of cohabitation since you were last granted leave (up to a
maximum of two years). Evidence provided should cover the whole period and be in the form of official letters
or documents, addressed to yourself and your spouse.

SET O form page 41.

I had same issue, my name was printed wrong on the council tax bills. So if you can phone them and get the name corrected. And request to resend you the bills with the correct name, they'll send you duplicates.

I had a similar issue where my wife's name was mispelt but it didnt prove to be an issue with UKBA.
