Hi,

I have got a query, if somebody can answer please.

If I will apply for ILR after October 2013 on the basis of 10 years long residence.

I have done MSc degree from UK in year 2009.

Do I have to Pass Both Life in UK test and English Language Level B1,

Or Just Life in UK test will be sufficient with My MSc Degree.

Thanks

Hi, if you have got a UK MSc degree, that should be sufficient for the language requirement. Passing the Life in UK test is what you need.

Hi

Every one has to pass LIUK test no matter even if you've done a Phd from UK.

Hope this will answer your question.

Good luck for your ILR.

Thank you very much for your precious replies.

Yes I was thinking the same that I will have to pass Life in UK test.

However I am confused about the English language test. As I have read,

From October 2013 anyone applying for ILR would need to pass LIUK Test and English Language Level B1.

So wasn't sure about the English Language Test If already have Degree.
