I had my ILR granted this friday.

My case was pretty straight forward. Arrived with WP, switched to Tier 1 in 2008, extended Tier 1 in 2010, same employer for 5 years, 177 days absence, one of which was 68 days.

Everything finished in about 3 hours, there were no IT problems, I received the letter stating my BRP will arrive in 7 days. At some points I was confused if I was waiting in the right floor but that was it.

Documents submitted:
- Form SET(o)
- 5 years p60s
- last 12 months salary slips
- last 12 months bank statements.
- Life in UK test result
- Passports
- Photographs
- Police registration
- Letter from employer stating my position and start date and salary
- Letter from employer confirming my holidays.

- Photocopies of all except Police Registration and Form.

I forgot to photocopy Life in UK test but CW was very nice and he said he'll do it for me.

Overall everybody was quite helpful.

Thanks a lot for the guidance immigrationboards.

Hi

Lots and lots of heartiest congratulations on getting your ILR and thanks a lot for sharing your PEO experience with us on the forum.

Please kindly keep us posted on the forum once you'll receive your BRP cards.

Good luck for the future.

Hi,

Do you actually need to submit a letter from Employer with Your Holidays, if you have less than 180 days of absense?

I have 170 days of absense, including 9 on Business Trip. Do you think I need a confirmation from Employer on that?

Thanks.

Hi,
Although the set-o application does not ask for it, yet it is a good idea to have it. I have 30 days official trip in my absence count. I am still below 180 but taken a letter from my employer.

Wow. Congratulations. Could you please confirm whether you got the ILR visa printed on your passport or Is it just the biometric card which will have the visa on it?

Regards,
Swapnil.

No visa print anymore, there's a BRP card that looks similar to Tier 1 one. It arrived in 3 business days.

good luck.
