After waiting for nearly 6 months, I finally received the letter from home office confirming my application has been successful. I have received my passport but not the bio-metric card yet. Hopefully that be delivered over the next few days.

It has taken me about 4 months and 2 weeks since the time I first applied and 2 months and 2 weeks from the date of biometric enrolment.

19/12/2012 BRP Card Delivered by DX after receiving a letter from DX dated 14/12/2012 claiming they tried to deliver my BRP card but was unable, I rearranged for re-delivery 19/12/2012) and they did at 5 mins to 5pm

So the day I joined this message board is the day they granted me ILTR, if only I had known, I could have put, Approved, Awaiting BRP.

Hi did you still get a letter saying your BRP cards was on its way? or was it just your passport and the BRP card? I got my passport and letter saying on the same date as you got your Passport & BRP card, letter said that my BRP card was on its way and should be with me with 7 working days. Am asking because the envelope containing my documents was damaged (half open) and the post man gave a card to feel in if there was anything missing, he also was told me that I need to feel in a make report in no more than 10 days. So i don't know if the letter is just standard or the letter that is enclosed for people who's BRP cards are on the way. Thanks,,,

no BRP delivered separately and Passport by UKBA however I was lucky enough too revive both on the same day even at the same time.

Many, Many thanks, you've set my heart at rest, I was worried that maybe some at the post office had taken out the BRP card. I'll wait for it.

From what I have observed on many boards and on this board as well, the people who are currently receiving their passports and BRP are those who did the biometrics registration in and around October.

UKBA had to re-issue my sons biometric letter as they made an error and after continuous follow-up finally they sent the biometric letter on 28-nov-2012 (one month after our letter)

Now Waiting for the result.......
