So finally the long wait has now ended and I'm very happy

1. What is the number of Applications received between 15th June to 22nd June 2012?

A total of 633 SET(O) applications were received between 15 and 22 June 2012.

2. Have all such applications have been processed successfully or is there a pending back log of applications from earlier months? If so, how many are pending?

Of the 633 SET(O) applications received, a total of 137 have been decided and 496 are still pending a decision.

3. If an application is made in Mid June 2012, based on your current processing timelines, when can the applicant expect to hear from UK Border Agency with a decision.?

It is not possible to give a specific timescale for concluding any application because UKBA commissions various checks dependent on the nature of the application made and the individual circumstances in each case. The time involved in this varies because the enquiries that have to be made can be complex and extensive, involving other government departments and agencies both inland and overseas.

7. Request for bank statements 20/12/2012 (dated 13/12/2012, they had P60, payslips & employer statement of earnings...)
8. Sent letter requesting processing due to ill family 24/12/2012
9. Received passports, documents & letter of notification - application has been accepted - 05/01/2012 (dated 02/01/2012, sent 2nd class just to be annoying?)
10. Now waiting to receive actual BRP

Over six months, but the BRP should arrive in the next 7-10 days. The only wrinkle in my application was that it was one week late - check the visa expiration dates in your passport, people! - but that was within the HO guidelines to accept.

Can't say how angry I am with the Tory govt. for destroying the BA with the austerity cuts - 1/3rd of employees made redundant without consideration for the consequences on immigrants or the efficiency of the agency. It was poor before, but never this disfunctional. If my partner wasn't resident, I'd have told them to f themselves and gone home.

Hi Guys
I went for my premium appointment at sheffield.for ILR on spouse visa basis........every thing was complete and they did send us out as well..........then gave call and said you dont have any documents of 2011....well i had p60s and tax letters covering 2011 and 2012........i printed payslips and utility bills........went back submitted and that officer who had my case kept calling and saying your application will be refused as i have to go for other case............and when we reached he took documents and said i need documents regarding your partner now............i was like we are from luton and didnt bring any thing else with us
and he printed a letter saying provide documents of cohabitation from the day i came to uk to dec 2011.9 thanks to him he didnt ask ticket on which i travelled to UK).........i managed posting them on 11th and they received yesterday..........any idea what next he is going to do...........and how much time he will take?...............it should be quicker than normal as every thing was complete and it was premium appointment............comments please?
