Hi All,
I heard the definitely leave to remain (DLR) valid for 3 years was abolished this July. If human right of article 8 (private life) was allowed, the appleant will be getting a 2.5 year visa.
Is the visa automatically issued by the UKBA once the appeal is allowed or the appellant will have to apply for it saperately?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you
Monika

I remember when my appeal was allowed in 2011 I was sent a letter by UKBA asking for my passport to be stamped. It did take a while for the letter to arrive as UKBA have to decide wether they will appeal aginst the decision..9 out of 10 times they dont bother...
