Passport details in SET(O) for ILR

Hi,
I am in the process of filling SET(O) form. In 1.9 of section 1 of the form I need to enter the passport number but I have 2 passports (expired and valid) my initial UK visa and the extension visa was stamped in old passport. Can any one advise which passport number should be entered in the form? Most likely it should be the valid passport number but want to double check with the experts.
