Hi team,

My sincere thanks to all members of this forum for sharing your experiences and being the guiding light for ILR aspirants like myself, and not to forget aandu, ali_asad_pk, 19star79, fomsand1, Raju TLN who spared their time to respond to my queries. Thanks again team!!

My case:
HSMP + Tier 1(G) - main applicant + 2 dependants
Entry Clearance: 18-April-2008
Entered into UK: 16-July-2008(89 days from hsmp stamp)
Tier 1 Extension: 18-April-2010
Tier 1 valid until: 18-April-2013

Out of UK - 65 Days in total(3 separate visits to India)

Docs Submitted:
Please refer to checklist -- http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=129902
Miscellaneous: Other Set(O) queries -- http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=129795

Appointment: 25-March-2013, 11:20am, Croydon

1. Entry into PEO: 10:45am
2. After 15-20 mins wait, security check completion: 11:05am
3. Issue of ticket number: 11:15am
4. First Floor: Paid amount and sat in the waiting area. Was called upon for initial application + passport check etc. Approx took around 15 mins
5. Second Floor: Sat in the waiting area and called for Biometric: 11:45am
6. Biometric completion: 12:00pm
7. Long wait started and finally called by case worker at 2:30pm
* Case worker just asked me to hand over all the originals + photocopies and said she will call me if she requires anything further.
* Sat right opposite to her in the front row looking anxiously as she worked upon the documents
8. Finally around 3pm(in just 30 mins ) she signalled me to come to the counter and said "Your application is fine and the biometric should reach you in 7 days". I again asked her if my ILR is approved and she said yes it's fine. I was handed over Passports + all originals + 3 sheets of papers which mentioned something like "...your application for indefinite leave to remain in the UK is approved and so on..."
9. Sincerely thanked her and left the UKBA office with a huge sigh of relief.
10. Now waiting for my biometric cards :)

Hope this info helps. Good luck to all those applying for ILR.

Thanks.

Congratulations,
I referred to your documents thread, so did you just submit the main documents or also additional documents like P60s etc.

Congrates WingsToFly on your ILR Success. I have also applied for ILR on the same day @ Croydon 8.00 am along with my wife and was successful

But I have received my biometric card on Wednesday and not for my wife.

It is bit worrying as my wife needs to travel to india on 7th of April.
Can you please confirm did you received your dependents biometric cards as well?

And also the Approval letter contains only my name not the dependent name. is it same with your case too ?

Waiting for your reply.

thanks
Raj

Hi Raj,

Thanks and Congratulations to you as well.

1. Well received both myself and dependants biometrics on the same day(last wednesday).

I believe the timeline they mentioned is 7-10 working days in the letter so in all probables you must receive it this week for sure. But given that your wife is travelling to India soon do you want to call them up and confirm?

2. Yes the letter only states the main applicant's name and no mention of dependants names. Think it's alright since I have checked the biometrics card and it's mentioned there all of us have 'Indefinite Leave to Remain'.

Good luck to you and please do let me know if you need any further info.

Thanks!
