Under what category you are applying? Pl. give more details of your Immigration History.

www.ukba.home office.gov.uk/bringing your family. You should be getting information from this web site. It will give the funds you need to show.

Thanks Kevin,
I understand that being on tier 1 I need to get same points I showed during my Tier 1 application, and that would include showing bank statement of last 12 months but my question is do I need to maintain some funds throughout that 12 months period?

I have seen applicants with dependents showing month end Minm. Bal.. £ 1,000 ,been granted ILR.All depends on the CW. They want to ensure that you have enough moneys to support the dependent, and not going to the State for help.
Thanks Kevin,

You should Maintain the Minm. Balance over a period. Say 6 months.

So you reckon having £1000 in account for six months before the application ( main applicant + dependant ) would be sufficient ?

Please read the successful experiences of Members as similar case like yours. I think £ 1,000 bal. every month for the last 6 months plus a good savings account, you should be fine. If your case is straightforward one no need to worry.

No problem.Don't worry, some times CW have approved ILR,if the other documents are O.K. Do you work for an Employer as a Tier 1 migrant. Then Employer could confirm your salary etc.
